The International Student Award helps to foster a diverse student community and enables more students from different nationalities to pursue their study and career goals with UWA.
If you’re looking to start studying in 2025, you could receive a fee reduction of up to AUD$20,000* over a four years on eligible undergraduate courses or up to AUD$10,000* over two years on eligible postgraduate courses.

To be eligible for the International Student Award, you will need to:
- Be citizen from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam
- Applying to The University of Western Australia as an international student on an Australian student visa
- Study an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course offered by the University and published in the UWA Handbook for 2025 intake
- Enrolled to study a full-time course load
