Degree Transfer Program Extended
Our specialised Degree Transfer Program is equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s degree at the University of Adelaide. You can follow your path to a range of business, IT, computer science, science undergraduate degrees and more when you join the University in second year.
Why study with us?
- We offer a wide range of courses taught to the University’s syllabus. You’ll learn content relevant to your degree and receive full credit for all university-level courses.
- You’ll be provided with English language and learning support to assist you while you’re studying the Degree Transfer Program.
- As our graduate, you won’t be required to provide further evidence of your English language proficiency.
- You’ll have the flexibility of studying a Degree Transfer Program in one of three formats: extended, standard or accelerated.

Our Bachelor of Computer Science features artificial intelligence and machine learning courses not available anywhere else in South Australia. It’s taught by world-class researchers and teachers within a faculty ranked 41 in the world for computer science and engineering.
What will you do?
Depending on your chosen major, you will:
- Explore self-driving cars, robotic vision, machine learning and image recognition
- Learn how to protect networks, data and software systems from attack and unlawful access
- Apply cutting-edge data analysis techniques—such as machine and deep learning—to large sets of data
- Design, make and study large-scale distributed software systems, including parallel, mobile and cloud-based environments.
Major: Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence major will allow you to learn from academics within the Institute of Machine Learning, driving the fourth industrial revolution. You will learn how to design, develop, and analyse software systems to perform tasks requiring human intelligence such as: self-driving cars, robotic vision, machine learning, and image recognition.
With advanced knowledge and skills in this exciting field, you could play a leading role as an engineer working in: artificial intelligence and machine learning; computer vision; business intelligence; or research and development.

Scholarships
The University of Adelaide College International Scholarship rewards the international graduates of the University of Adelaide College.
This scholarship is:
- Available for graduates of the University of Adelaide College commencing at the University of Adelaide.
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand); and
- Provides a waiver of 10% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree.
Value
The scholarship offers a 10% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar's chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- Be a graduate of the University of Adelaide College;
- Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
- Enrol in a full time study load for each study period of the degree;
- Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission.
Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest value scholarship award for which they are eligible).
Exclusions
The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:
- Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one degree to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers)
- Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognised scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department
- Applicants for Masters by Research or Phd programs;
- Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degrees.
