Program Overview

Students who have already completed Year 12 (or equivalent) may start with the Stage 2 Diploma, which has the same course content and structure as year one of the corresponding Curtin University undergraduate degree. Upon completion of your Diploma, you will progress directly into the second year of your Curtin University Bachelor's degree program.

Stage2 - Pharmacy - Diploma of Health Sciences
Pharmacists are involved in the development, testing, manufacture and distribution of medicines and the monitoring of drug therapy. The Bachelor of Pharmacy offers practical experience and a strong theoretical grounding in the discipline of pharmacy.

In addition to providing community-based healthcare, this degree allows you to exercise business management skills in a professional setting.

Leading to: Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)

In your following years, you will study pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, antimicrobial chemotherapy, pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. You will also continue to develop your pharmacy practice skills.
