Diploma of Criminology and Criminal Justice
This diploma program mirrors the first year of Griffith University’s Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, providing a solid grounding in criminology and criminal justice and the basic elements of the four disciplines on which it rests – law, political science, psychology and sociology. You will benefit from the College’s close working relationship with the Queensland Police Service, providing you with guest lectures from active police officers and site visits.

Scholarships
International Student Scholarship
Accept your offer by the cut-off date to automatically qualify for an International Student Scholarship, designed to support you as you embark on your study adventure at Griffith College.
Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Scholarships are only available to new international students commencing in Trimester 1 (March 2025); and who have not studied at Griffith College in any previous study period.
To qualify for this scholarship", students must:
- Accept their offer by the cut-off date: Monday 9th December 2024
- Pay all relevant fees
- Commence study in their accepted intake (no deferrals)
- Remain enrolled past census date
- Achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 out of 7 (if studying 4 units) or 4.5 out of 7 of studying 3 units) in the first trimester of study at Griffith College
Scholarships can only be redeemed for their intended purpose and are not transferable or exchangeable in any way. Quotas apply to all scholarships, delays in accepting your offer may affect eligibility.
International Student Academic Excellence Scholarship
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Have a minimum GPA in previous studies of 5.5 or above on a 7 point scale or equivalent in the most recent recognised qualification.
- Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- Be a full-time student starting in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Excludes the following programs: Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Dental Health Science, Doctor of Medicine, Master of Dentistry, Master of Pharmacy, Master of Speech Pathology and Graduate Diploma of Flight Management.
