Diploma of Information Technology
The Diploma of Information Technology is structured to provide a broad understanding of all aspects of IT in preparation for further studies in computer programming, database administration, information systems, interactive web development, software development and systems design. You will gain the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to progress to your degree, including creditable industry placements and the opportunity to join the App Factory – an IT development platform for start-ups.

    To qualify for this scholarship, students must:

    • Accept their offer and commence study in their accepted intake (no deferrals)
    • Pay all relevant fees
    • Remain enrolled past census date
    • Achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 and above out of 7 in the first trimester of study at Griffith College

    Accept your offer by the cut-off date to automatically qualify for an International Student Scholarship, designed to support you as you embark on your study adventure at Griffith College.


    Scholarship Terms and Conditions
    Scholarships are only available to new international students commencing in Trimester 1 (March 2025); and who have not studied at Griffith College in any previous study period.

    To qualify for this scholarship", students must:

    • Accept their offer by the cut-off date: Monday 9th December 2024
    • Pay all relevant fees
    • Commence study in their accepted intake (no deferrals)
    • Remain enrolled past census date
    • Achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 out of 7 (if studying 4 units) or 4.5 out of 7 of studying 3 units) in the first trimester of study at Griffith College

    Scholarships can only be redeemed for their intended purpose and are not transferable or exchangeable in any way. Quotas apply to all scholarships, delays in accepting your offer may affect eligibility.


    International Student Academic Excellence Scholarship

    • Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
    • Have a minimum GPA in previous studies of 5.5 or above on a 7 point scale or equivalent in the most recent recognised qualification.
    • Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
    • Be a full-time student starting in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
    • Excludes the following programs: Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Dental Health Science, Doctor of Medicine, Master of Dentistry, Master of Pharmacy, Master of Speech Pathology and Graduate Diploma of Flight Management.
