If you are looking for an exciting and fast-paced career where you can use creativity to address issues in hospitality and tourism, and collaborate with other like-minded individuals, Conestoga's Bachelor of Hospitality Management may be the perfect program for you.


This three-year Bachelor's degree program will provide you with the comprehensive skills and knowledge required to achieve success in a range of careers in hospitality, leisure, tourism, events and related fields. Building upon the recognized theoretical foundations of hospitality, you will complement your learning through case studies, laboratory activities, simulation exercises, and a four-month paid co-op work term. You will learn in Conestoga's Centre for Culinary and Hospitality Innovation at the John W. Tibbits (Waterloo) Campus, featuring a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen equipped with commercial-grade appliances and student restaurant, Bloom.


An exclusive agreement with the Institut Lyfe (formerly Institut Paul Bocuse) Alliance Network in France; the leading global network of education excellence for culinary arts and the hospitality trades, provides opportunities for co-op work terms in France and connections to further studies at the Institut.


As a graduate of the only program in North America accredited by the Institute of Hospitality, you will have a competitive advantage with industry recognition that can expand your career internationally. Academic Requirement

Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have a Grade 12 / High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) Grade 12 U/M level courses with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, or six (6) Grade 12 C level courses with a minimum cumulative average of 75%.

Note: Higher averages may be required for admission due to competition for available spaces in the program.

Scholarships

The exceptional academic achievements of prospective Conestoga students will not go unnoticed as we welcome them to our vibrant community. Starting Fall 2024, newly admitted students may be eligible for one of our prestigious scholarships as part of their acceptance


$1,500 for Grade Range 70% and above.
Any applicable scholarship will be applied to the student account in the Fall past the 10th day of the term.


CONDITIONS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Final Admission Average: Students with a final admissions average of 70% or more will be eligible for a scholarship.

Staying Enrolled: Students will need to remain registered in the degree program they are accepted to past the 10th day of the Fall term to maintain the scholarship eligibility.
