Program Overview

In this program you will learn to provide client care as the “face of the practice.” Learning a variety of office administration, customer service and veterinary medicine skills from trained Registered Veterinary Technologist instructors, you will gain all the skills you need to be an asset to any veterinary team. You will also learn alongside Animal Health Technology and Veterinary Technical Assistant students in the animal hospital.

On-Campus Delivery: This eight-month certificate program begins in September and culminates with a three week industry practicum.

Online Delivery: Complete the Veterinary Medical Receptionist program from home. The online delivery method will allow students to complete distance delivery via asynchronous learning. Running from September to August, students will gain their certificate through a combination of distance learning and a three week Industry Practicum. Students completing the online delivery method can expect to spend a minimum of 15-20 hours per week per course.
