Have you already completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, or one of the life sciences and are already working in the industry? The master’s in Pharmaceutical Medicine offers you a part-time, 1.5-year degree program in which you will gain in-depth knowledge and practical insights. The degree program also provides you with comprehensive knowledge of drug analysis and clinical studies and is designed to provide you with the knowledge you need to work in areas such as research, development and regulatory affairs.

This study program takes place at Charlotte Fresenius University, which is part of the Carl Remigius Fresenius Education Group.

 

Your study program in detail
If you have already completed a bachelor’s degree in one of the life science subjects or are a graduate in a related subject such as medicine or pharmacy, you can apply and build on your previous knowledge. The master in Pharmaceutical Medicine deepens your knowledge of drug development, marketing and authorisation as well as research with the latest technologies and focuses on practical learning strategies.

The degree program is based on internationally recognized standards and guidelines for pharmaceutical practice as well as the latest developments in drug approval and development guidelines.


Study content
During the semesters, you will deepen your pharmaceutical knowledge and practical skills. The focus is on pharmacology and clinical development. You will gain in-depth knowledge of evidence-based drug research, clinical trial methodology and the ethical and scientific principles of drug development and monitoring.

The program’s part-time nature is designed to provide the flexibility you need to balance work alongside your studies, enabling you to take on work opportunities that enhance your practical experience and support your financial stability.

In addition to these main topics, there are also joint modules on offer. These include the economic evaluation of health interventions (M.Sc. International Health Economics) and the relevant knowledge and guidelines.

The examination regulations ensure that all students have the necessary knowledge to work in the demanding pharmaceutical industry, while regular classes scheduled weekly on Fridays and Saturdays, along with additional language courses available during the week, ensure consistent learning and engagement throughout your educational journey.

 

Practical Relevance
As an expert in pharmaceutical medicine, you will need in-depth knowledge of all facets of the pharmaceutical industry. The research-oriented internship gives you the opportunity to gain deeper insights into conducting and analysing clinical studies and to participate in current research projects in cooperation with the industry.

By actively participating in research projects, you will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and work together in interdisciplinary teams. Experienced lecturers will be on hand to supervise you.

    Academic Requirement

    • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine or life sciences such as chemistry and biology. In addition, your bachelor’s degree must have at least 240 Credit Points. If you have more than one year of professional experience in the pharmaceutical sector, 30 credit points can be credited to your studies.

    • Student Pentium scholarship given by German education support to every student amount of 300 Euro per month.
    • Early Bird Discount of 1000 Euro if student pay the full one year fee along with confirmation deposit within a month and it (1000 Euro ) will be received in 3 rd Semester to student.
