Climate change is the most pressing environmental issue facing humanity, affecting every facet of the world around us. We urgently need graduates who can lead future climate change solutions in all sectors of society.

Why study the Bachelor of Climate Change?
The Bachelor of Climate Change degree allows students to become an expert in one of a wide range of different major subjects that are needed to develop effective climate change solutions.

Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of climate change through the compulsory papers of the degree, including its scientific, social, cultural and economic dimensions. M?tauranga M?ori is interwoven through the degree and students are taught the importance of valuing different worldviews when trying to develop authentic solutions to the challenges of climate change.


Major: Strategic Management
Strategic Management is about envisaging a company's future, finding new market opportunities, and developing a clear plan to achieve growth and success.

Why study Strategic Management?
Strategy is at the top level of management. This subject will teach you how to develop innovative growth strategies for business that will stretch their horizons and set them up for success.

Identify new ways of enabling firms to expand into new markets, launch new products, and deliver added economic and social value.

Strategic Management considers the 'total enterprise' to ensure all of an organisation's resources are being well managed as a cohesive unit.

Students will learn how to think critically about a company's situation, its key strengths and weaknesses, and devise strategies to improve future performance.

You'll also develop an eye to spot emerging competitive threats, and explore new opportunities or barriers that could impact on a firm's future. For example, changing consumer trends or technological innovations, and keeping pace with industry or legal changes.
