International Foundation Year in Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance
The International Foundation Year prepares you for university with English language and study skills practice, as well as subject-specific teaching. When you complete the programme, you will progress to the first year of your undergraduate degree. This pathway allows you to progress to degrees in subjects including accounting, business management, financial mathematics and many more. You choose a route depending on which undergraduate degree you plan to study. There are three routes: Accounting and Finance, Business, and Economics. Which route you choose impacts the modules you will study.

Leading to: Economics and Management Studies BSc (Econ)
Organisations are constantly having to reinvent themselves, by evolving the way they operate, in a challenging economic environment.

This means graduates with the ability to put economic theory into practice, and with knowledge of modern management practices, are in high demand.

Our BSc Econ Economics and Management Studies focuses on the global economy and the organisations which operate within it, from multinational corporations to social enterprises and charities. This holistic approach ensures you develop the skills to respond to the evolving needs of all businesses, irrespective of sector.

You’ll develop economics and management expertise from our team of international researchers and business practitioners. They’ll introduce you to micro and macroeconomic theory while giving you the freedom to design a course around your interests.

With their support, you’ll build a skill set to respond to current developments and challenges in business and society, while preparing to launch a successful career or pursue further postgraduate study and research.
