International Foundation Year in Life Sciences

The Life Sciences International Foundation Year leads to a wide range of degrees in biology and chemistry-related subjects at the University of Surrey.

During the International Foundation Year you will study a core unit of general subject skills, and subject-specific units, which are carefully designed for your academic development.

Once you have successfully completed your International Foundation Year and achieved the required progression grades, you will be well-equipped to start your undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey.

Leading to: Chemistry with Forensic Investigation MChem

Our professionally accredited BSc and MChem provide you with a solid grounding in investigative techniques and modern instrumentation. This enables you to gain the problem-solving and presentation skills that a forensic chemist needs. You’ll benefit from our research-active academics and strong professional links, gaining the confidence to translate your ideas into practice.
