The length of the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) can vary depending on how many courses a student takes each semester and which track or concentration is pursued. It is possible to earn your degree through our fully online MSN program.

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Track

The Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Track at Regis College is for nurses who want to work with psychiatric and mental health clients who are diagnosed and treated for the management of problems such as dementia, depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric problems. Students are taught to analyze patient's interactions with pharmacological agents and are given the opportunity to advance their education in the areas of pharmacology, pathophysiology, and health assessment with nursing theory, process and research.

The curriculum meets the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) criteria for certification as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
