UTSA’s Civil Engineering degree will teach you all the necessary fundamentals of civil engineering through design work and hands-on lab exercises. You’ll also be provided with several opportunities to engage in cutting edge, interdisciplinary research. In your civil engineering studies, you’ll combine what you’ve learned from mathematics and the physical sciences to cover broad topics ranging from highway engineering, fluid mechanics and steel design. After graduating, you’ll be able to apply your skills in building and designing public structures that keep society operating like roads, bridges, water supply systems, community living spaces and more.
