The program supports international students who exhibit academic excellence, leadership potential and commits to the development of their home countries.
The scholarship covers tuition fee, living expenses, travel expenses, and other related costs for the duration of the study program. The awarded students can choose from eligible study programs at New Zealand universities and tertiary institutions.
Students from countries in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The applicants must also meet academic and English language requirements for the same.
Applications for the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Programme 2023 open in late 2022 or early 2023, and the program will commence in 2023.
