How many times is the IELTS exam conducted in a year?

The IELTS test dates are available 48 times a year. Each test centre conducts the test four times a month, depending on the number of students appearing for the examination. The IELTS Academic is conducted four times a month, while the IELTS General Training is conducted twice a month. But, there is no limit to the number of times a student can sit for the exam. The exam is also held on a Saturday every week.

The IELTS exam is an international-level English proficiency test that tests the Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening skills in the language. Can a candidate take IELTS twice a year?

There are no restrictions on retaking the IELTS exam in a year for a candidate. She can appear for the exam as soon as she feels she is ready for it.

Is the IELTS exam conducted every month?

The IDP conducts the IELTS Academic exam four times a month and the IELTS General Training exam twice a month

During which month is the IELTS exam’s difficulty level the easiest?

The IELTS exam difficulty does not change basis any month. The candidate may appear for the test on any date.

Is a passport required for the IELTS exam?

Yes, having a valid passport is mandatory for giving the IELTS exam.
