Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking are the four sections of the IELTS, an English language proficiency test that evaluates your command of the language. You may need to take the IELTS Test depending on why you are traveling to a particular nation. You must take the IELTS Academic Test if you are an overseas student. And, you must take an IELTS GT, or General Training if you are traveling for business or migrating for which the Reading section has five passages instead of three passages as for the IELTS Academic Test.
IELTS test-takers typically don't pay as much attention to the Reading section as they do to the other sections. Reading shouldn't be overlooked even though the four components are equally crucial. One must understand the format and how the scores are determined to ace any exam. Everything you need to know about the IELTS Reading Score Calculator and more is available on this site.

You must first be familiar with how the IELTS test truly operates to help in preparing for the exam. IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training, also known as GT, are the two different test categories. The grades for these two tests are the same. Your Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking abilities will be evaluated as you take the IELTS exam. All four skills are covered in the test, although the Speaking test is done separately. IELTS Reading Exam Scoring: How Is It done?
There are 40 questions in the Reading part. There are several different question kinds employed, including Matching, Multiple-Choice, True/False/Not Given, and Sentence Completion. The marking is a little different from the Speaking and Writing assessments because your responses are either correct or incorrect. Each accurate response will earn you one mark, and the total number of marks earned will determine your band score.
