Launched by the British Council, this scholarship supports students with exceptionally good IELTS result and are driven to aim and achieve higher. It’s a suitable option for post graduate degree with 10,000 pounds offered for tuition fees. Remaining amount could be allocated as living expenses as well. Student should be 18 years of age and need to produce acceptance letter from university.
Generation Google Scholarship
Google offers this scholarship to assist technologically sound students or aspiring for the same in higher studies. They are offered $1,000 USD and must be a 2nd year student at an accredited university. This is applicable for specifically computer science or computer engineering students, with strong academic performance.
AAUW International Fellowships
It’s one of a kind of scholarship supporting women, to promote equity and education among girls. This scholarship is provided by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to women who are non – U.S. citizens. This is considered one of the best MS scholarships for women to apply for. $20,000 US are provided covering tuition fee, living expenses and dependent child care.
Fulbright Foreign Student Program

Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowships
It was established in collaboration by Reliance Industries limited and the Stanford GSB as Reliance Dhirubhai India Education Fund. This scholarship is extended to excelling students and almost 80% of the tuition fee gets covered under it. Also covers living expenses and travel fares. An estimated amount of $83,000 is provided to each one.
TATA Scholarship at Cornell University
Tata Education and development trust has arranged $25 million funding for Cornell to assist Indian student in their pursuit of higher education. Based on certain requirements as TOEFL or IELTS score, admission offer from Cornell and need based financial aid eligibility, it’s a boon for aspiring students.
S.N. Bose Scholars Student Exchange Program
It came into conception to honour Professor Satyendra Nath Bose and provides stipend of USD 2000, along with health insurance and airfare. Other than being an Indian student, it is only provided to students with stream of Atmospheric and Earth sciences, Chemical Sciences, Engineering sciences, Mathematical and computational Sciences and Physical Sciences.
