ALBERTA UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS (AUARTS)
Formerly known as Alberta College of Arts and Design, AUArts is a public research Canadian university located in Calgary, Alberta. This college was established in 1973 and educated students in fine arts, media, and design. EMILY CARR UNIVERSITY OF ART AND DESIGN
Established in 1925 and formerly known as Vancouver School of Decorative and Applied Arts, ECU is one of the oldest post-secondary educational institutes in British Columbia. It was renamed after Canadian artist Emily Carr in 1978. The University encourages research and experimentation at the intersection of art, design, media, and technology and places students at the centre of a vibrant, interdisciplinary environment. The university campus was initially located in Granville Island and moved in 2017 to Vancouver, BC, in state of an art customized new campus, which has already become a landmark in the surrounding areas.
CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY
Located in Montreal, Quebec, Concordia University is a public research university established in 1974 by a merger between Loyola College and Sir George Williams University. The University is home to an excellent visual and fine arts department that offers a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in the following courses: Art Education Visual Arts, History of Art, Cinema, Design and Communication Arts, and Creative Arts Therapies and Studio Arts. Aside from the Visual Arts Department, Concordia University also has a Department of Performing Arts, and it offers Contemporary Dance, Performance Art, Theatre, and Music.
ONTARIO COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN (OCAD)
Ontario College of Art and Design University, often abbreviated as OCAD University, is a public, non-profit higher education academic institution in Toronto, Ontario, and established in 1876. In the 143 years of its existence, OCAD University has integrated art, design, and digital knowledge with the social sciences, humanities, and the sciences. It delivers 18 undergraduate and seven graduate degree offerings while acting as a business incubator, an executive training studio, and vital research programs.
NOVA SCOTIA COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN (NSCAD)
Nova Scotia College of Art and Design knew as NSCAD University, is a post-secondary academic institution of applied arts and design established in 1887 by Anna Leonowens. The institute was initially called the Victoria School of Art and Design. NSCAD offers bachelors degrees in Fine Art (BFA), Design (B.Des), and Art History. It also offers Master of Design degrees and Master of Fine Arts at the graduate level.
