A Diploma is a 12-month course that gives you the foundational skills and knowledge in a specific area of study. A Diploma in Business will take you straight into Second Year of a Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW Business School.

It’s ideal for international students who need extra support, including those who just missed out on direct entry into their preferred bachelor’s degree, or hold qualifications that aren’t recognised by UNSW Sydney.

UNSW's Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is an innovative business degree that has been designed alongside industry to ensure you are one of Australia's most employable graduates. You’ll undertake a range of experiences that are unique to UNSW's BCom, learning in the classroom, and the boardroom.

From your first year, you'll understand business essentials and begin building a portfolio that demonstrates your skills to future employers. You'll build your expertise by specialising in a major and build your skills through guaranteed industry learning experiences.


Major: Business Economics 
Business economists study the cause and effect of unemployment and inflation, economic growth and development, income inequality, public policy, and environmental management. Collecting and calibrating data, economists make recommendations to Commonwealth and state government departments, international organisations (such as OECD), or the private sector.
