Program Overview
Post-baccalaureate diploma will be of interest to students who have a non-business degree, and who want to return to university for one or two years to acquire a specialty in a functional area of business in order to enhance their employment opportunities. Students with a first degree in business, but who want to change their area of focus, may complete a post-baccalaureate diploma as well.
Post-baccalaureate diplomas are also valuable to international students who wish to come to Canada to learn English, gain exposure to the culture, and study in a compressed format. Many who do so have already studied business in their own country and have received transfer credit that reduces the length of the program.
Build on your current career or education or go in a whole new direction with the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Marketing. This program will give you business and marketing skills that apply to a variety of industries. The program is great for people who already work in marketing, as well as those who wish to broaden their skill base, transition into management, or market their own business. Courses emphasize practical skills and use a blend of lectures, case studies and group work on real projects in the business community.
In order to graduate with the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Marketing, students must obtain a minimum overall average of 60% on all courses presented for the diploma. A minimum of 30 credits must be taken with Nipissing University to satisfy residency requirements.
