International Professional Program

Continuing Education International Professional Programs are full-time, professional development certificate programs that provide students with skills sought by employers. International students in these designated programs are eligible to apply for study permits. Upon completion, students can apply for post-graduate work permits that will allow them to work in friendly and beautiful Calgary, or elsewhere in Canada. All International Professional Programs require in-person attendance.


One Year Specialization: Construction Management

Construction management is a vital and expanding field within the global project management landscape.


This program offers a comprehensive pathway into construction management. Over 610 hours, students develop the specialized skills needed to excel in construction-focused industries, while also mastering advanced project management techniques and leadership strategies.


The curriculum emphasizes key construction management areas such as contract law, cost estimation, business management, and communication, ensuring students are equipped to make sound decisions in Canadian and global workplaces. This comprehensive program combines two Occupational Health and Safety certificates with a Change Management certificate, offering a robust skill set for those looking to enhance workplace safety and lead organizational change.


The two OHS certificates lay the groundwork for careers in OHS, covering essential topics such as safety regulations, risk management, and human behaviour in emergency situations. As the program progresses, you will build on this foundation by focusing on mid-level technical tasks and advanced safety strategies. You'll dive into topics such as workplace hazard analysis, safety audits, and the creation of prevention strategies, positioning yourself to tackle complex safety challenges in diverse settings.
