Bachelor of Finance with Concentration in Islamic Finance Amity University - Dubai Campus, UAE

The Bachelor of Finance degree provides students with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary financial models, products, and strategies, including those requiring compliance with Sharia laws.  Students can opt for a general BFin degree or a BFin specialising in Islamic Finance. 

Our graduates are team players and lifelong learners with appropriate financial competencies and skills, allowing them to assess and mitigate financial risks and make sound ethical financial decisions. 

The program consists of 123 credit hours spread over four years; although, a student can complete these hours in less than four years subject to registering for 6 credit hours during the summer terms. 

Programme Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of the Bachelor of Finance, the graduate will be able to:

1. Knowledge

• Demonstrate understanding of relevant financial theories and concepts and their application to overcoming contemporary financial challenges.

• Assess financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.
• Analyse financial problems and build financial models.
• Use information technology for data retrieval and financial applications.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing using appropriate media.

Concentration: Islamic Finance

In addition to preceding Programme Learning Outcomes, graduates opting for the Islamic Finance Concentration will be able to:

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Sharia’ finance-related concepts and products.
• Apply Sharia’ principles in proposing sustainable solutions to financial problems.
