Program Overview
Master the skills to succeed as a reflective, contemporary performer. This course provides in-depth training in practical techniques for stage, screen and recorded media, with access to outstanding resources across the University including performance and rehearsal spaces and green screen and motion-capture facilities. You’ll be based in a vibrant, creative and collaborative community where you’ll combine practice and research, working with supportive industry professionals who will nurture your individuality and encourage ownership of the skills and qualities necessary for employment or further study.
You will:
- Learn, develop and apply acting techniques and approaches as you are prepared for a professional career
- Engage with working professional practitioners through practical sessions and intensive performance projects
- Collaborate with students within AMATA as well as those specialising in film, television and games, gaining industry-relevant training
- Showcase your work through live and digital performances
- Benefit from being located in a working performance venue offering a year-round programme, which has attracted world-class artists and performers. Previous events have included Anne McNulty, Gecko Theatre, Michael Grandage Company, Prodigal Theatre and Wildworks
- Have access to a host of resources including green screen and motion-capture facilities

Scholarships for International Students
International Talent Awards
- A limited number of £5,000 scholarships called International Talent Awards will be available.
- These scholarships will be able to be paid towards tuition fees in Year 1.
GREAT Scholarship
- Eligible students will be from India and China and enrolling in a one-year master's programme at Falmouth during the 2022-23 academic year.GREAT Scholarships are funded by the British Council and the UK government's GREAT Britain Campaign, in partnership with UK higher education institutions.
