The Swansea University College of Arts and Humanities offers students the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects in a world-class environment. The Pre-Masters course offers students from a variety of academic backgrounds to specialize into their area of choice, or to assist students whose academic qualifications do not allow for direct master's entrance.

Successful completion of this pathway will lead to MA in Politics from Swansea University.

MA Politics

The MA in Politics gives you stimulating high-level training in the core components of contemporary political study, and a solid grounding in research skills and theoretical approaches to politics.

You then select options that focus on global, comparative and British politics, as well as political theory and philosophy.This degree is enriched by the chance of work-based placement learning, either through the Wales for Africa programme or through placements arranged with government organisations in Wales. 

These placements are awarded on a competitive basis, adding substantial life and career experience to your studies.
