International Foundation Year in Business, Law and Social Studies
This route leads to a wide range of degrees at the University of Leeds, in areas ranging from mathematics, economics and finance to law and social policy. You will study core and subject-specific modules, which are carefully tailored for your academic development and chosen area of study. Once you have successfully completed your International Foundation Year and achieved the required progression grades, you will be well-equipped to start your undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds.

Leading to: Business Management BA (Hons)

You’ll study your Business Management degree at our world-renowned Leeds University Business School. This dynamic course combines a comprehensive understanding of how to manage organisations with the practical knowledge top employers are looking for. You'll learn directly from business leaders at guest lectures and events, giving you valuable insights into a range of career paths and sectors.

Through compulsory modules, you’ll cover the core concepts and techniques of management and develop the skills required to lead. You’ll learn about organisational behaviour and the business and economic environment, as well as important business functions such as accounting, marketing and supply chain management.

Diverse optional business management modules will focus on topics such as human resource management, management consulting, marketing strategy, and managing digital information and technology.

Whether you see yourself working in large private sector organisations, in the public sector or starting your own business, you’ll develop the analytical, quantitative, digital, presentation and other transferable skills required by the business world.
