Pre-Masters Programme in Science and Engineering
The Pre-Masters Programme in Science and Engineering is your route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex.
You can choose one of three pathways, based on your intended Masters degree:
- Computer Science and Engineering*
- Life Sciences*
- Psychology*
On both pathways, you will study a combination of general and academic modules to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need for postgraduate study.
What you’ll study
During the one-semester Pre-Masters Programme in Science and Engineering you will study a combination of academic modules, specific to your pathway, and compulsory modules.
Once you complete your Pre-Masters Programme in Science and Engineering and achieve the required grades, you can enter into the postgraduate degree at the University of Sussex.
Leading to: Cancer Cell Biology MSc
Learn from research scientists at the forefront of cancer research and cancer therapy design, based in the internationally-renowned Genome Damage and Stability Centre. You’ll benefit from the applied research expertise of the Centre’s teams.
Understand the molecular basis and cell biology of cancer and gain the skills required for a research career. You build your analytical and experimental experience and learn the necessary bioinformatics and experimental theory.
Many of our teams get funding from the Medical Research Council and Cancer Research UK – the world’s leading independent funder of cancer research.
