    Alliant International University is pleased to offer a large selection of institutional scholarships. We offer scholarships each academic year to new and continuing students. Scholarship awards are applied to tuition and fees on the student account at the University

    Arthur Kovacs Academic Merit Scholarship

    Arthur L. Kovacs, PhD was the founding campus dean of the Los Angeles campus of California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University.  Dr. Kovacs currently holds the post of Founding Dean Emeritus and Distinguished Professor at Alliant.

    The Arthur Kovacs Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded to an Alliant student at the Los Angeles campus on the basis of academic merit as demonstrated by a scholarly paper.

    Eligibility Consideration

    • Los Angeles student
    • Student in good standing
    • Student having written a scholarly paper whose contents are generally psychological in nature

    Application Process

    • Submit your completed scholarship application
    • Submit a copy of your CV / resume
    • Submit a copy of your scholarly paper
    • Submit an endorsement/recommendation from an Alliant core or adjunct faculty member of your scholarly paper

    Awarding of Funds

    • For 2024-2025, one $500 scholarship is available. Application deadline is 11:59pm PDT on April 30, 2024.
    • Award recipient must be enrolled full-time and must be continuously enrolled for continued eligibility for full amount of award
    • Award funds will be disbursed in equal increments between the Fall and Spring semesters and will be applied to the recipient’s student account at Alliant International University
