Our Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance (MA) program options feature an innovative curriculum designed around our core strengths in business, economics and finance.

MA students are encouraged to use 16-20 of their elective credits to complete one of five concentrations:

Economic Analysis and Consulting: The MA program concentration in Economic Analysis and Consulting gives students a firm understanding of how business decisions are made in corporations, governments and financial institutions, as well as how those decisions are impacted by government policies within the context of a global economy.

Data Analytics: The MA concentration in Data Analytics prepares students to study and make decisions in business, economics and finance as they develop sophisticated technical analysis skills in data science. Students complete coursework in big data, forecasting, marketing analytics, business and system dynamics, financial modeling and more.

Financial Economics: Students in the MA concentration in Financial Economics graduate equipped with the analytical, presentation and communication skills necessary for developing economic policies and assessing investment decisions for corporations, governments, central banks and financial institutions.

Marketing: Students who pursue the MA program concentration in Marketing gain a firm understanding of both theory and empirical techniques of marketing as they learn the practical applications of integrated marketing plans, communications strategy and strategic analyses in the context of economics, finance, business and global politics.

Real Estate Finance: The MA concentration in Real Estate Finance provides the analytic skills and quantitative tools needed to scale their careers in real estate acquisitions, development, portfolio management, credit risk analysis, property management, emerging markets, leasing and urban planning. The curriculum also includes credit risk analysis, marketing management and more.
