International English Scholarships

The University of Ottawa offers generous scholarships to international students from many countries starting an undergraduate program offered in English.

Entrance scholarship	Excellence scholarship	Faculty	Eligible programs
Valued between $20,000 and $60,000 awarded over the duration of your four-year undergraduate program (between $5,000 and $15,000 per year).*	Valued between $20,000 and $100,000 awarded over the duration of a four-year undergraduate program (between $5,000 and $25,000 per year) to students chosen among the best applicants admitted with an entrance scholarship and an admission average of 90% or more.* Excellence scholarship important dates: April 1 Deadline to submit application to an undergraduate program April 15 Deadline to submit all requested documentation	Engineering	Chemical Engineering Civil Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these scholarships, international students must meet the following criteria:

Be a citizen of any African country or of Bangladesh, China,* India, Indonesia, South Korea* or Vietnam
Be newly admitted for the fall 2025 term in one of the eligible undergraduate programs offered in English
Not enrol in the French Immersion Stream
Have a valid study permit when classes start
Be enrolled full time
