Established in 1974, Griffith College is Ireland's largest independent third-level institution with locations in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.

Griffith College enjoys a national and a growing international reputation for student success. The College has gained an enviable, award-winning reputation for providing students with first-class lectures and excellent study material. Griffith College offers internationally recognised postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes, complemented by a wide range of professional, short term and corporate training educational solutions - in Griffith College, there is something for everyone. Today, there are over 7,000 students studying in the College, which is a designated educational institute of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).

The College will mark an important milestone in 2024 when it will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding. Over the past half-century, Griffith has made a significant contribution to third-level education in Ireland. Many former students have gone on to distinguished careers in Ireland and internationally, in fields as diverse as accountancy, business, computing, design, engineering, law, media, music and drama. Recipients of the College’s Distinguished Fellowship Award conferred on individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to Ireland, include Mary McAleese, the 8th President of Ireland, and Nobel Laureates Seamus Heaney and John Hume.
