Health and Wellbeing |
It is important to us that our students remain healthy and happy during their studies and beyond. To help you achieve this we offer Personal Tutoring while on programme and access to our Student Counsellor. Please consult your student handbook for more details. If you require a service that we do not provide on campus, we would be happy to help you find one locally. Some of the pages listed here may be international and are for information only. You may not be able to access the face to face services from outside the host country. |
Study Skills Support |
We provide handbooks to all our students containing useful information about the course you are studying. Please ensure that you have read these thoroughly as it will contain many answers to frequently asked questions. If you are struggling to complete your assignments or are worried about falling behind in class, you should always speak to your Personal Tutor first. If the teaching team are unaware that you are experiencing difficulties – we are unable to help you. University of Bolton have a Study Skills page which is open for anyone to use for advice around assignments, referencing, research and many more topics related to Higher Education. LEAP Online is designed to support your academic and personal development. Each section contains information, videos and activities. You can earn digital badges by completing the assessments. |
Personal Finance |
If you are in financial difficulty and have borrowings, it is important to speak with the financial institution first to tell them about your situation. It is likely that a payment plan can be arranged for you and the debt paid off without future penalties. As the laws and regulations differ so greatly between different countries, it is imperative that when seeking financial advice that you locate an adviser with the expertise necessary to help with your particular circumstances. Please make sure in all cases that you speak to your family, remember that your personal debt could have repercussions for them as well. |
