Postgraduate scholarships
To help with the cost of study and support students during their time with us, Royal Holloway has a number of scholarships available, awarded for both academic and non-academic achievement. Our scholarships provide a cash award or a reduction in tuition fees for successful applicants.

| Bedford Society Scholarships | Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent; and study in selected departments |
Tuition fee reduction of £8,100 |
| The Robert and Cheryle Poddubiuk Bedford Access Scholarship |
Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent; study in selected departments; and able to demonstrate financial need |
Tuition fee reduction of £8,100 |
| Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship 2025 |
Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a 2:1 degree or higher; and study in MA Medieval Studies |
Tuition fee reduction and living costs contribution (where applicable) of £12,000 |
| Katayoon Behboodi Scholarship 2025 |
Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent; study in selected departments; and is an Iranian national with permanent residency in Iran |

| Royal Holloway GREAT Scholarships Nigeria 2025 |
A passport holder and a resident of Nigeria; establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar; and meet other requirement |

A passport holder and a resident of Ghana; establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar; and meet other requirement |

| Corky McGuinness award in Musicology 2025 |
Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent; and study in an MMus in Music |

Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a 2:1 degree or higher; study one of selected degrees within the School of Engineering, Physical and Mathematical Sciences; and able to demonstrate financial need |

Achieved, or be on target to achieve, a 2:1 degree or equivalent; study MA Medieval Studies |

| Music scholarships | Choral, Orchestral and Organ scholarships (you do not need to be applying for a music degree) |
A range of cash rewards of between £300 and up to £1,500 a year |
| Sport scholarships | Excel in their chosen sport and are committed to improving while they are at university |
Package of benefits to help talented student athletes for the length of their degree course |
- Current scholarship of GBP 6,000 for India and Pakistan domicile students, and GBP 4,000 for other select domiciles
