Student life on-Campus
As a student at the International Study Centre you will have access to all the University's facilities from day one, including the library, Students' Union and clubs and societies. The fantastic learning facilities at The University of Huddersfield have been awarded QS 5 stars - the highest rating availability - and the Computing and Library Service has proudly been awarded “Customer Service Excellence”.

Modern library
With access to millions of books, journal articles, databases and media items, the University library will be an important tool for your success at Huddersfield. Open seven days a week and staffed with friendly, knowledgeable employees, the library will always be accessible to you. Study spaces are available to fit your working style, too - whether that’s quietly and alone, or collaboratively. The library is spread out over five floors with over 400,000 books in print alone. TalkStations also make it possible to make free calls over the internet.

Lubs and Societies
You won’t be short of activities to do at Huddersfield. There are over 100 clubs and societies on campus to choose from, including everything from salsa dancing and drama club to American Football and Wing Chun Kung Fu. If there’s something you’d like to do that doesn’t currently exist, feel free to start a society or club yourself.
The University's international societies are sponsored by the International Office and are student-led groups open to all students and staff at the University. Their purpose is to represent different cultures, languages and countries on and off campus, include others, educate and learn from one another while making new friends and having fun along the way.

Students' Union
The goal of the Students’ Union is to make your life better. Make your voice heard when it comes to important issues and complaints that affect you. Get involved! You could even stand for election if you’d like. The Students’ Union also works with local and national charities and organisations. This means you’ll have the chance to learn new skills, meet new people, gain real world experience, and have a bit of volunteer work to put on your CV.
