The Office of Success collaborates closely with various departments at Widener to establish a network of support services and resources. Our aim is to provide you with personalized attention and assistance, to best support you as you navigate the twists and turns of finding your path and hone the skills needed to achieve your dreams.

Academic Support Services

Our team of caring professionals provides academic coaching, tutoring, and support to keep you on track. We monitor your progress and use early assessment and retention alert programs to identify struggling students and offer timely assistance.

Career Support Services

Whether an undergrad, grad, or non-traditional student, we'll help find the right career path. Develop the skills you need from day one to achieve your goals and reach professional success. Our student-centered approach guides you on your journey, whether you have a clear path or not.

Health & Wellbeing

We are committed to providing all Widener students with culturally competent health and wellbeing services as we serve the needs of our diverse campus community through advocacy and education. Our university stands with the American College Health Association and its statements on racial marginalization and health equity and in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

Prioritizing Your Mental Health

Through our on-campus Counseling and Psychological Services, our staff of licensed clinicians, and counselors, will help you address personal, emotional, or social concerns. Confidential individual counseling and psychotherapy services are provided.

At CAPS, our primary focus is on creating individually tailored treatment plans that promote the health and well-being of the whole student. We aim to foster a strong sense of belonging and enhance academic success. Our goal is to provide personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each student, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Residence Life & Dining

In our residence halls and dining facilities, we seek to build fun, comfortable, and supportive environments to live, learn, and grow.

There are a number of on-campus dining options, making it easy for you to relax and enjoy meals with friends or grab a quick, healthy bite on the go. Plus you can explore all the restaurants and eateries off campus and beyond in and around Philadelphia.
